Martin D. Sass

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Martin D. Sass, the Founder and CEO of M.D. Sass, established the investment firm in 1972. Before forming M.D. Sass, he was President and CIO of Neuwirth Management and Research Corp and Founder of the Special Situations Division at Argus Research Corporation. After graduating Brooklyn College with a BS in Accounting, he pursued graduate studies in Finance at NYU and CUNY. He's Vice Chairman of the Brooklyn College Foundation and Chairman of its Investment Committee, he launched the M.D. Sass Investment Institute in 2015 and is a member of CEO (the Chief Executive’s Organization) and YPO Gold. Sass was Chairman and Co-Founder of The SASS-ARENA Foundation for Medical Research from 1986 through early 2025.
